Dining Out in Brisbane

If you are wanting to go dining out in Brisbane, your taste buds won’t be disappointed. There are many award winning restaurants to choose from that feature local and foreign cuisine. Here are a few highly recommended choices you can try when dining out in Brisbane.

If you like Indian food you’re going to love Bombay Dhaba in South Brisbane. With main dishes between $ 13 and $ 21, this delightful restaurant fits a couple on a budget. Bombay Dhaba just won a Host Plus Award For Excellence from Restaurant & Catering Queensland. They offer a full take out menu or you can dine-in and drink from their wine list. Their authentic Indian dishes are inspired by both the northern and southern regions of India. Don’t miss the savory Samosa appetizer for $ 7.99.

While you are dining out in Brisbane it is a great opportunity to try some local Aussie fare, try Best Modern Australian Restaurant of the year award winner E’cco Bistro.

Their a la carte menu is absolutely scrumptious. Each dish is a work of art. My favorite is the grilled white fish with crushed new potatoes, green beans, spiced almonds and sauce bois boudrin for $ 42.50. Closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s.

For some more upscale dining out in Brisbane you can enjoy an evening at Urbane. Urbane was recently awarded Best Fine Dining Restaurant. The motto at this fine dining restaurant is “It’s about consistency and quality. We are obsessive about Urbane delivering that in spades.” The Ceviche of Hervey Bay scallops with lime ice, fresh apple, pea ravioli and Jalapeno oil was delicious and is one of their cheaper entrees.

If you are dining out in Brisbane other restaurants worth trying are: Gianni’s, winner of Best European Restaurant and Cha Cha Char, winner of Best Steak Restaurant.
